Is this the final Ice Age film? Dad says it won’t be but we say it is because of the asteroids. Hag & Con

Galen Chu – It’s a good question. We definitely approach each one of these movies like you know – this is gonna be the film.

We didn’t approached this one thinking this will be the final one.

I’ve had some questions before saying ‘I’ve heard this is the defining chapter’. I like to position it as the defining chapter. It’s an important moment in their lives – for everybody. For Manny, for Peaches and obviously it’s s big moment to have Scrat out in the cosmos. But I don’t know if it’s the final chapter?

We wanted to leave ourselves a back door just in case. We want to see how this one does. And if it does well and people seem to be interested in another one – there are certainly other ideas that we can start working on.

We just want to see how this one does first.
