Elio has a lot of heart and some nice messages about the importance of family. The story is a bit hard to follow at times, with an imbalance of ‘not quite enough high adventure’ for kids and ‘not enough depth’ for adults. But it’s colourful, vibrant and looks stunning throughout. A particularly good looking Pixar film!!!
