Good Night Mr Tom: World War 2 comes to Kent this Easter

The Orchard, Dartford Library, Dartford Museum, KCC’s Dartford Extended Learning, Dartford Amateur Operatic and Dramatics Society and The Reporter have joined forces to offer a historical fortnight themed around World War II to coincide with performances of a new stage version of Michelle Magorian’s stunning novel, Goodnight Mister Tom, at The Orchard, Dartford.

From Mon 11-Sun 24 April The Orchard will host a World War II themed exhibition and there is also an abundance of fun, yet educational events, all linked into this momentous period in our country’s history hosted at various locations across Dartford, all provided for only £2.00 per person*.

All events can be booked by calling The Orchard Ticket Office on 01322 220000. Places are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

Throughout the fortnight, Dartford Library will be running a special book promotion, Keep Calm and Carry On, with great books which evoke the decade that inspired Goodnight Mister Tom. Go along to the Library and borrow a book!
