Putting aside my personal dislikes for these films is key to reviewing the Twilight franchise – so I’m sticking solely with a parenting opinion.
‘Breaking Dawn’ part 1 and 2 are a perfect example of a ‘true’ 12a (On DVD and Blu-ray BBFC 12) – due to the content being very sexually driven and not really for Kidz under 12 years old.
The actual story plays quite young, so its a shame that the sex is so visual as its clearly an attractive franchise for ‘Tweens’ – but none the less there are sex scenes and these films should realistically be viewed by the over 12’s.
