Parent View:
I’m a big fan of Tim Burton and all of his movies – have been since a kid. ‘Frankenweenie’ is a Kidz version of the classic ‘Frankenstein’ story crossed with Burton’s beautiful ‘Edward Scissor Hands’ style and sentiment.

Hag and Con both really enjoyed this film – although I can see some Kidz not being such a fan of Tim Burton’s Gothic storytelling as many Mum’s and Dad’s find it a bit dark. There are a few scary moment so I would suggest taking blankets for Kidz to hide behind, but overall its not too scary compared with ParaNorman. Classic Tim Burton – fans will love this movie!!!

3D Blu-Ray Review:
Frankenweenie is a magical and enchanting piece of storytelling presented surprisingly well in 3D considering the whole film is in Black and White. Stand out 3D moments – The coming alive for Sparky (Lightning), Bat/Cat, Monsters attack and the finale battle with windmill.
