Playstation 3: Earth Defense Force 2025 review by Hag and Con

I’ve probably been a little too relaxed letting both Hag and Con play this game. I completely agree with the PEGI 12 rating for EDF2015 but also think blowing up alien spiders with big weapons won’t be too damaging for some Kidz under 12 years old to see (I took both boys to see Pacific Rim and its pretty much the same content). It is quite violent……I guess……for some under 12’s these day. Back in the 80’s – this would have been a normal gaming experience for any under 12 to play (Not that I’m condoning that naturally).
The graphics not being quite to the standard of ‘True reality’ makes me far more relaxed them playing this game. If it was ‘Call of Duty’ standard it would be an out and out no. Its not to the high quality of ‘Call of Duty’ and the blood looks a bit like an explosion rather what we’re used to in recent video games.
If you’re Kidz under the PEGI age are desperate to play ‘Call of Duty’ and you’re happy for them to watch films like Pacific Rim – Earth Defence Force 2015 is a great substitute. Hag and Con are really loving this game.
