I really liked this film – but felt younger Pre/early school Kidz struggled with the length and some of the scenes with too much dialog. Kidz will enjoy this movie far more at home where they can wander in and out of the room. In the Cinema they were a little too confined. Rango is a great animated movie – but possibly more for the Kidz within the parents and less for the Kidz of the parents.
The DVD and Blu-ray offers an wonderful collection of extras for the family – including an extended version of the film and introduction to the real animals that inspired the characters.
