This Disc is rated a 12 certificate – which means the BBFC believe the content to be appropriate for anyone over the age of 12 years old to view it. I take both Hag (age 7) and Con (age 4) to see WWE live every year and this is exactly the same show seen at the O2. Both my Kidz know not to copy the fight moves as they are dangerous – so I’m happy for them to watch these DVD’s and play the WWE games. Each child is different so WWE may not be appropriate for all Kidz.

This is the first of the games to be released with the new ’12 certificate’ introduced to the DVD’s this summer by the BBFC. Before now the games carried a BBFC 15.

From the content I have seen there is no justification for the second rating of 16 by PEGI. Yet again PEGI seem out of touch with their certifications. I still believe that the these games are appropriate for ‘some’ Kidz under the age of 12 and allow both Hag and Con to play them as the violence is no worse the the live show they go to regularly. WWE12 is great fun with plenty of options for game play available. It would be impossible for any child to get bored quickly of WWE12. Money well spent this Xmas for fans!!!
