Tea in the morning, coffee in the afternoon, fizzy pop in the evening, guava juice if I wake up in the middle of the night. Why? It’s just the way I roll, Con.

What’s the best thing about working on Danger Mouse playing Penfold? Sophie age 8

Kevin Eldon – You get to make lots of very silly loud noises without getting told off. As well as that you can eat as many biscuits as you ask for.

When you first found out you were going to be in Danger Mouse – where were you and who was the first person you told? Con age 8

Kevin Eldon – I was on the inside track of a massive wheel, running as fast as I could. The first person I told was a gerbil who was asleep in the corner in a big pile of straw. He wasn’t very happy about being woken up!

What’s your favourite Danger Mouse gadget you wish you had? Sophie age 8

Kevin Eldon – I wish I had the super-soup-synthesiser. That turns any food you have into delicious piping hot soup. Very handy on a cold day.

What’s your favourite type of Hamster? Con age 8

Kevin Eldon – It’s either the greater long tailed hamster or the longer great tailed hamster. It’s REALLY hard to choose.

Do you ever put your own words in or do you stick to the lines you’ve been given? Sophie age 8

Kevin Eldon – We have to stick to the script. If we put our own words in they take away our biscuits. Luckily the scripts are really good so it doesn’t happen very often.

If you were a hamster – what country would you live in and why? Con age 8

Kevin Eldon – I would live in Holland. In Hamsterdam.
