Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has been wowing audiences at the West End’s Palace Theatre since 2016. Next week, 30 July, the show celebrates an incredible 9 years in London, so Con popped down to the theatre to catch up with two of the show’s stars Ellis Rae, who plays Albus Potter, and Eve de Leon Allen, who plays Rose Granger-Weasley.
Set 19 years after Harry, Ron, and Hermione saved the wizarding world, the trio, now parents are back, seeing their own kids, and the next generation of witches and wizards off to the legendary Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the home of the original two-part production, has been seen by over 2 million people in in London and holds a record-breaking 9 Olivier Awards, the most awarded in one year for a play.
Productions also currently running on Broadway, in Hamburg, in Tokyo as well as a North American tour, with a further production opening in 2026 in the Netherlands.
