Cosmonauts – Birth of the Space Age Press Conference with Dr Valentina Terehkova (First Women in Space) and Sergei Krikalev (803 days, 9 hrs and 39 mins in space)!!!
What’s the tastiest space food – and why do you like it? Con age 8
Dr Valentina Terehkova – In my time nothing was particularly tasty. (Laughs)
Sergei Krikalev – There are limitations to space food. There are lots if preservatives that have to exist for it to survive the configuration. I don’t think the first food was particularly tasty. It was improving every time we made a flight. I think now it’s getting tastier in general. The food was getting better as it adapted for many of the flights. But seriously did you know the Americans preferred Russian food. (Laughs)
