We just loved MAX – its unlike any kidz film we’ve seen this year. Its gritty, exciting and has the cutest dog in the world as the star. That said – back in the 80’s a film like this would have been a regular view for Kidz aged 7 to 12 years old under the rating of PG. These days I would advice that you check the BBFC website to see you’re comfortable for your Kidz to view the content (CLICK HERE). I was very happy for Hag (10) and Con (8) to watch Max as they are the perfect target audience for such a film. But don’t expect a ‘Buddies’ movie – this is far more in line with a Avengers style Superhero movie with a touch of Earth to Echo and Dolphin Tale thrown in for good measure. Older Tweens and young Teens will love MAX!!!
