WWE: Hag and Con talk to Superstar and family favourite Kofi Kingston

Are you born with the ability to fly from the ropes or is it something you had to learn to do? Hag age 8

I was definitely born with the ability to jump really high! I remember back at school I could always jump the highest and could actually reach the basketball rim in the 5th grade. My acrobatics are definitely something that takes a lot of training and practice which is why we always tell people not to try this at home.

Who is the first person in the WWE you ever competed against? Con age 6

My debut for WWE was against a guy called David Owens on the ECW show – I’m pretty sure you can still watch the match on YouTube! My first real WWE rivalry was with Shelton Benjamin who was known to be an impressive athlete so allowed me to show everyone what I was about. He was a worthy opponent!

Do you have any secret strategies for beating someone? Hag age 8

My secret is to never be afraid. At Extreme Rules I’m up against Dean Ambrose, which means I’m really up against all three members of the Shield. They’ve never lost a match in the WWE so a lot of people would be worried but I’m not afraid of them. I’m the underdog and I know I can beat them!

Why do you do the Boom Boom Boom? Con age 6

Well I do the Boom Boom Boom because the word Boom denotes explosion. I like to think I’m one of the most explosive Superstars on the roster and I like to share this with all of the fans, I love it when they join in!

Who inspired the Boom Boom Boom and when did you first do it? Hag age 8

The words Boom Boom Boom are a result of my explosive nature. The hand claps are actually taken from some old school reggae dance moves that I used to do back in the day. I’ve kind of adopted them for myself and the fans to share.

Who is your best friend at WWE? Con age 6

I have loads of really close friends at the WWE but I would have to say one of my closest is Hornswoggle. We are always on the road together and nearly always share rooms. He is a really funny guy!

Do your parents like watching your matches? Hag age 8

They love coming to watch me! My mum is my biggest fan and follows my career very closely. She is always wearing WWE t-shirts with my name or face on so she can show off to all of her friends and be proud of what her son is doing.

Who is your favourite Superstar to compete against? Con age 6

That’s a hard question but I would probably say Antonio Cesaro. Although I beat him for the United States Championship he is a real athlete and a tough challenge! He has loads of different moves, all of which are really cool so he’s fun to be in the ring with.

Extreme Rules will be live and exclusive on Sky Sports Box Office at 1am on Sunday night, May 19.WWE will be returning to the UK and Ireland in November with 13 shows up and down the country, tickets go on sale this week.
