Disney Big Hero 6: Hag and Con talk to Producer Roy Conli

What was it like making a film from a Marvel comic and what was the hardest bit? Hag age 10

The great thing was that was that working with Marvel on this was a delight. Marvel really….they gave us the comic essentially. And gave us complete freedom to alter and change anything. And the we had two guys, Joe Quesada and Jeff loeb who actually became part of our story trust. So they would come and see every screening we did. So working on the material was terrific.

The hardest bit – a story is always a fascinating journey. And it was really kind of fighting that balance between Hiro and Baymax. And what that relationship was?

Once we hit that relationship and nailed it – then the rest of the story fell into place.

Who do you think has the most awesome weapons in Big Hero 6 and why? Con age 7

I’d have to say GoGo. Because I’m a bicyclist and I love to ride my bike. And if I had Magnalift wheels I’d be in heaven. And then to be able to throw those suckers and have them come back – that would be even better.

If you could upgrade yourself what would you look like and what powers would you have? Hag age 10

Definitely I would want the rocket boots…..I would want to be able to fly. You can take the Rocket-Fist, you can take anything else. But to be able to fly that would be heaven. I think everybody wants to be able to fly.

What would you do if you had a day with Baymax and where would you go? Con age 7

Oh my gosh….that’s a great question. I almost feel I’d be cheated if I only had a day.

I would take him anywhere I go and introduce him to all my friends and he’s a wise character. In a very simplistic way. So I think it would be interesting to introduce him to your friends and show off that you have Baymax with you. That would be cool!

If there’s a sequel – what would you like to see next? Hag 10

I’d definitely like to see a further coming together of the team. I love these characters. And we hinted for them throughout the entitle production process.

And now that we know them it’s going to be really interesting to see them really come together. And how good they can get at what they do.

The next one would start with them in motion.
