Room 94 – Con talks to the band backstage !!!
When did you start the band and how old were you? (Con age 6)
Kieran Lemon: We started the band when I was 15 years old
Dean Lemon I was 13
Kieran Lemon: He was 13 and we’ve just been playing around for years and then…kind of messing a around and then it got to a point when in probably 2010 when we said let’s take it more serious.
It’s officially been 4 years since the band because before that we were kind of just messing around and having a laugh (Laughs)
What is your favourite type of music? (Con age 6)
Sean Lemon: We listen to everything really – at the moment we’re living a lot of Drake, embalm 3….like Rap music, pop music. We listen to everything.
It changes every day really. One day we listen to Drake and the next day it will be Blink 182….the next day it will be something more heavy or sometimes Rap based.
Kit Tanton: We even listened to Britney Spears earlier!!! (Laughs)
How many songs did you have to write to create the album? (Con age 6)
Dean Lemon: We wrote a lot of songs…but then we had to choose from them.
We had to narrow it down to 10 songs. I think probably we would have wrote maybe 25 songs and then had to pick.
It’s hard.
What’s your favourite song you’ve created? (Con age 6)
Kieran Lemon: It’s hard – they’re like our babies……it’s hard to pick a favourite. I think on this your what we’re all loving playing live is a song called One Night’ which is about going to a party and just having one night of fun. And we really love playing that live and for the fans that’s the first time them hearing and they’re really taking to it.
So we get a buzz yeah. At the moment One night is the One we’re all loving.
And Morning After – because that’s just about having fun again (Laugh)
