The DVD lasts for about 75 minutes. At 45 minutes Maya got up and began playing on her piano. When I asked why she replied ”It’s too babyish”. I turned it off. She then stated she wanted to finish watching it. I turned it back on. She sat and watched it to the end. She did say, though, that she got a little bored. When asked she stated that her two-year-old friend would enjoy it. Maya is turning four soon, and I have to agree, she is too old for this feature. She gave it one star for four-year-olds, but sixteen stars if you are a two-year-old. Having said that I am not sure a two-year-old would sit and watch for 75 minutes.
Con really liked this DVD – watching it twice in one week. I have the feeling it could be a Marmite title for Kidz. Maybe some of the imagery is a little too surreal for some little boys and girls. Either ways fans of the toys will be over the moon to see a DVD adventure – so this would be a ‘Must Have’ gifting idea for Birthdays or Christmas.
