Battleship is the film of the board game and that’s exactly what you get. If you go for potential Oscar winning performances you’ll come away bitterly disappointed. If you go to to see big stars in a huge budget Sci-fi flick about aliens fighting humans at sea – you’re in for a fun time. This is one of those films that much like John Carter that could have done with being a PG. Realistically its a movie for Dad’s to take their little boys to – and like John Carter, little boys aged from 7 to 12 years old will love Battleship. Personally I was very happy for my 7 year old Hag to watch the movie and in all honesty I see no reason why 5 year old Con couldn’t watch it too.
