At first Hag and Con didn’t connect with Boom Street. When left to play alone – they didn’t really understand what was happening and the rules were very confusing. Within 30 minutes Con said he was bored and wandered off.
When I played the game with them and explained the rules, they enjoyed Boom Street so much more. Actually I think Con thinks this is the best game ever now as its the first time he’s ever beaten his big brother on a first play of any game.
This is a ‘family friendly’ version of Monopoly without the intense long hours of play. This game would be perfect for ‘Wii Parties’ and cosy Sunday afternoons while doing the chores – but needing to play with the Kidz at the same time. Best suited to Kidz 7 years and up – although any child can play in a group with adults.
