The classic tale of The Railway Children is now in its second year at the Kings Cross Theatre and without a doubt one of the most unique shows we’ve ever taken to the kidz to see. Its really hard to explain – but you are part of the show with the fourth wall removed and audience participating. The characters and performances are out of this world and the stage and how it interacts with the cast is just magical.
Justin Fletcher is his usual very entertaining self as station manager Mr Perks. Its no secret we’re big fans of the very talented Fletcher at kidzcoolit and you get to see a new side to him as an actor in the Railway Children which is very exciting as a fan. There’s even some very touching and dramatic moments we’ve never seen from the Kidz favourite before. Not so deep that his younger fans will detach from him during the performance – but certainly great for Kidz like Hag (age 11) who are now too old to watch his TV shows. I think this is a nice move career-wise for Justine Fletcher to start performing for his older fan base.
The Railway Children is a worthy winner of so many awards and easily one of the best shows in London. Highly Recommended!!!
