Ghostbusters is a funny, exciting, special effects fest. Hag, Con and Bex went to see the new film and all the Kidz really loved it. It might be worth taking a blanket for Kidz that scare easily and possibly seeing the film in 2D to make Ghostbusters a little less scary. I wouldn’t say Bex (age 4) scares easily – but she did like hiding whenever the more spooky ghosts appeared (Its Doctor Who scary content). Also – much like the original films there are some minor swear words and actions. So be aware of that if you’re not happy for your kidz to see this type of content.

Overall this is a cracking comeback for the franchise and a brilliant popcorn family night out. Highly recommended – the Ghostbusters are ‘FINALLY’ back for a new generation. We want more!!!

3D Blu-Ray Review:
This is easily one of the best 3D Blu-Rays we’ve ever reviewed using a technique we’ve never seen before which is incredibly effective. The movie is presented in a ‘letterbox’ widescreen format with key 3DFX’s like slime and proton lasers extending outside of the image box and into the black boarders. Why we’ve never seen this effect used before I have no idea – but to say it adds to effects is an understatement. You really feel objects are coming from the screen – the most creative use of 3D I’ve seen in 2016. A must own for the 3D Blu-Ray collection – Highly Recommended!!!
