Parent View:
The introduction of an iPad completely revolutionised my working world, as well as offering a whole host of entertainment both at home and whilst out and about. It offered me multimedia access to the world in a small convenient package – and now Kidz watching the fun their parents have had want the same thing. Bring on the Kurio!!!
Kurio is more than just a toy version of the iPad, it is ‘Their iPad’ as a brand. Its easy to use, durable, has multimedia access to a camera, games, educational apps, books, films and music – plus everything can be controlled by parents denying any web surfing to undesirable sites.
The Kurio should and will become the make-up culturally of today’s kidz in a similar way a whole generation learned to “Now spell Colour” on ‘Speak and spell’ . I would like to think that every home and school will have a Kurio by the end of next year as they are just brilliant and so useful.
At £150 its incredibly cost effective and a very subtle way of making your kidz learn and explore the world as well as being a pretty good games machine on the down time. Plus the video game apps are all good quality and anything from free to only £5 – which is remarkable and perfect for these cash strapped times.
Hag and Con have not put their Kurio down since it arrived – they just love it and I can’t see why they ever would put it down as there seems to be new games and apps available on a daily basis. Return play would appear to be forever on early observations.
Kurio is a must own gadget for the home – the most highly recommended product of the year for me 2012!!
