Now this DVD’s about sensible parenting as Season One’s rated 15 on the box. In reality its only the first disc of 6 episodes that’s actually rated BBFC cert 15 – with the other discs rated 12. Also with further season’s keep an eye out for slightly ‘rude’ content you may wish to skip so your Kidz don’t see.
Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and the movie of Dragon Ball are rated PG – so young fans will want to see the original series as this is the origins of the characters.
Hag and Con have been told not to watch the first disc and there are a few episodes on the further discs that have content I’m not comfortable them watching – but overall I’m happy with them viewing most episodes in the box set.
Sometimes what the Japanese see as light comedy for Kidz is not quite what UK parents find appropriate as entertainment. I would suggest heavy ‘Parental Guidence’ on these discs – but don’t ban Kidz from seeing everything just because of a few episodes.
