This is one of the greatest family action movies in decades – easily one of the best films I’ve seen in years. We walked out want to see it again. There is some mild bad language throughout the movie – but Kidz need to see this movie on the big screen so for once overlook this. Guardians of the Galaxy is as good as the first ever Star Wars!!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review –
Gordon Bennett the 3D is beautiful in this movie. It’s weird – we watched this film twice theatrically and both time concentrated on the story, characters, humour and naturally the action. Watching it for a third time we still enjoyed all of this – but could really focus on the 3D this time. The shots in space are just ‘out of this world’ – especially around the planet ‘Knowhere’. Everything you could possibly imagine appears from the screen from start to finish and use the use of colour really compliments the 3D effects. A Must own for the 3D collection – Highly Recommended!!!
Standout 3D Moments – All the scenes in space, arriving in ‘Nowhere’, chase scene through ‘Nowhere’, Gamora and Star Lord floating in space, fleet of ships attacking Ronan’s ship, Groot and the lights and the Orb finale (No spoilers)
