Can I make a suggestion for parents thinking about buying Meccanoid for their Kidz either as a Xmas birthday gift – if they’re under 14 years old build it before you give it to them. This is a wonderful toy – and its the robot you and your Kidz have always wanted. But he is very fiddly to construct and you need to really concentrate while building. Now I would never take away that building together Parent/child experience from anyone – but to be honest when I was building this with the Kidz, the added conversation lead us to make many mistakes. When left alone with piece and quiet – I nailed it. He is very lovely though and and in reality Con just wanted the finished product anyway. Cracking stuff from Maccano – but quite challenging at times. Highly Recommended!!!
