Princess Bride meets Tangled – A new family classic in the style we watched as Kidz in the 80’s.
The marketing aside – I was surprised how ‘boysey’ this movie was, expecting it to be far move ‘Disney Princess’. Boys of all ages with love ‘Mirror Mirror’, both Hag and Con were glued to the screen throughout and didn’t move.
I would say the ‘Tween’ market of girls will love this film. Its pretty much targeting the Twilight/Happy Potter female fan base and not ‘Pink’ enough for girls under 7 or 8 years old.
Overall this is a fantastic film and Julia Roberts is very much back on top form as the Evil Queen obsessed by her looks.
