MI4 is a fantastic action thriller with some very funny moments. Perfect for Kidz who have grown out of movies such as Spy Kids but are slightly too young for the Bourne and the ‘New’ Bond films. The 12A* rating theatrically was probably spot on although the violence isn’t too extreme and there’s only one ‘minor’ swear word. I was personally happy for Hag (age 7) to see the movie on its cinema outing and was very excited when Blu-Ray arrived.
*The 12A rating in cinema’s means a child under 12 years of age can see the movie if the parent feels it is appropriate – although the BBFC feel the film should be for 12 years and above. There is no 12a Rating for Home Entertainment only a rating of 12 for the same film as played in cinemas.
