The Skylanders are back for Christmas 2013 with a whole new adventure and characters to collect. Kidz just love this franchise and every little boy on the earth will be talking about it.

This time the figures can separate ‘physically’ outside of the game and exchange their powers within the game (See images below). As with the last instalment all of the figures from ‘Spiro’ and ‘Giants’ interact with the new chapter and open up different sections in the new world with their various elements.

One thing I love about this game from an educational point of view is how much my boys know about the worlds various elements. A good knowledge of the Earths natural elements is needed to unlock the various levels and its great fun hearing a 6 year old use these skills to take on the puzzles.

As for the Pegi 7 rating – Silly!!! Con’s been playing this game since 4 years old – Its a cartoon.

As stated in the Kidzcoolit review for ‘Disney Infinity’ – Infinity and Skylanders are ‘NOTHING’ alike apart from the technology and figures. Skylanders is a massive gaming adventure that the story and interactivity completely changes as you purchase new characters (Much like a ‘Choose your own Adventure’ book). Disney Infinity is Libray of Disney games set within the world of Disney. There is a place in the Kidz gaming/toy market for both and Kidz will want both this Xmas. So if you have two Kidz – there’s two gifts sorted for the list.

Skylanders Swap Force is a must own for fans and Highly Recommended!!!

The Figures – Swap Force action:

Pull the figures apart

Small magnets in the body of the toys

Powers swapped for the game
