On DVD and Blu-ray (12) Hag 5 Stars/ Joseph 4.5 Stars

Parent View:
How has it taken so long for Noah’s Ark to be made into a feature film – it seems so crazy its taken so long. That said – this is not the fluffy children’s book telling of the story. Noah is the darker version as told in the Bible where the human race have become so out of control only the animals of the world are worthy of saving from a pending flood.

Con (6 years old) was eager to see this film – but I decided he may be a little young for this version of the story. I was correct in my prediction and only took Hag (age 9).

Hag is a 9 year old practicing Catholic and was totally transfixed by the new movie. Its not the film I expected at all and very much the Directors interpretation of the Bible story. This does not mean its blasphemous – quite the contrary. Noah is a very respectful depiction of the Noah’s Ark tale – but its also entertainment and thoroughly enjoyable. Hag is the perfect audience for this film – religious Kidz will love Noah!!!
