The ‘Pirate’ films shouldn’t be judged like other movies – they are a blockbuster big screen version of the Christmas Panto. This film was a 12A at the cinema meaning Kidz under the age of 12 were allowed to see it when accompanied by an adult. Be cautious showing to Kidz under 12 years if they scare easily. Any child able watch the other Pirate movies or shows like Doctor Who should be fine.

If you have a 3D TV you’re in for a real treat – the 3D is as good as it was on the big screen. Easily one of the best 3D Blu-Rays on the market.
