This movies has such a wonderful running time for a Kidz live action film at just 101 mins and is pretty much packed with excitment from start to finish. I’ve heard talk of it being a little violent. In reality its no more violent than any fantasy film – its just that the sound effects are quite loud and crunching. I took both Hag (age 10) and Con (age 7) and they loved it. Ghostbusters meets Transformers starring the Ninja Turtles. Such a fun movie!!!!
3D Blu-Ray Review:
Anything that has Michael Bay’s name attached to it is alway going to be a 3D extravaganza and much like the Transformers films there’s no holding back from start to finish. Swords, bullets, Shredders daggers and shrapnel are just a fraction of the objects that spear from the screen throughout the movie. Also there are incredible landscape sequences that include everything from the New York City Skyline to snowy cliff tops.
Stand out 3D moments – opening animated sequence, Turtles making their way back to the sewer after first meeting April, Splinter V Shredder, battle down the side of the snowy cliff and the finale battle above New York
