Its been a long, long time since I’ve sat watching a new movie in amazement wondering ‘How did they do that?’ – but throughout The LEGO Movie, you just can’t help wondering. Its a movie made out of LEGO Bricks and just an incredible piece of fil making. Not just that is a cracking story and very funny.

This is a Kidz movie and Kidz will love the film – but I would say its for parents with Kidz, rather than kidz with parents that like Kidz film. Hag and Con both loved ‘The LEGO Movie’ – Its going to be a massive hit for the whole family!!!

3D Blu-Ray Review:
It’s a really good use of 3D for this movie – although far more subtle than I expected. I’m so used to seeing 3D LEGO movies in LEGOLand I was expecting similar ‘in your face’ effects. Instead the movie makers have decided to use it to define the depth and scale of the world. There are a host of ‘out of the screen’ moments – but not like the LEGOLand films.

Stand out 3D moments – Everything is Awesome opening, escaping from the Wild West, disabling the Shield with Batman swinging, Emet falling through the Portal, Master Builder Emet’s return.
