Quite frankly – this is not a game I would have ever considered bringing into my family home. Nobody in the house is into golf, the boys are 7 and 4 years old and I always think of golf games as something for sport fanatic Teenz or men over 35. How wrong could I be!!!
Me, Hag and Con have played this continually – and its even become relatively competitive. The controls are very easy to master on the Kinect version we own and its actually a very relaxing experience for a video game. Con struggled a little at first to co-ordinate the swinging motion – but now seems to be fine and he’s enjoying the game play.
One little tip – don’t stand sideways as you would playing real golf. We made that mistake for about 30 minutes before we realised you need to be facing the screen and the sensor. Highly recommended as a family game!!
