Why did you want to be a WWE Superstar? Con age 5
‘I’ve wanted to be a WWE Superstar since I was really young, I loved watching the shows at the weekend, especially Monday night RAW. It was when I turned 12 that I decided I was going to be a WWE Superstar and I never looked back from there.’
How many Superstars do you think it will take to beat you? Hag age 8
‘I can’t answer that because so far I have beaten everything the WWE can throw at me. Whatever they decide to put in front of me next I know I can beat, whether that be 3, 5, 7 or even 10 WWE Superstars. It doesn’t matter to me because I know I’m good enough to defeat them.’
Do you ever want to do flips in the ring? Con age 5
‘I’ve never wanted to do one so far, but if the time comes I know I have it in my back pocket. I take a simple approach – go out there to destroy and win. I will do whatever it takes to win and if that means doing flips, then so be it.’
Why are you called Ryback? Hag and Con
‘Well it is the combination of two things. Firstly my name is Ryan, so that is where the start of the name comes from. The end of the name stems from when I was younger and my friends used to call me the ‘Silverback’. They said I had the body shape of a Silverback Gorilla which is a fairly good observation. Put the two together and there you have it.’
If you could fight any WWE Superstar who would it be? Hag age 8
‘It would have to be John Cena. He is the face of WWE at the moment and has been for the last few years. But this is the time for a new era. If I want to be the best I have to beat the best and that means defeating John Cena and becoming the new face of WWE.’
